The Dirge Singer (2014)

Yun Shim is a young girl who was born to a poor family. Both her mother and grandmother were dirge singers; deemed to be the lowest class of people who are paid to attend funerals and mourn for the dead. Yun Shim was also raised by her mother to become a dirge singer, but she decides to rebel against the destiny laid out for her and flees home to become a Gisaeng, thinking that smiling for a living is better than mourning and crying. She then meets Yoon Soo, a young man from a wealthy family who unfortunately was born out of wedlock and is looked down upon as a half-noble. Will Yun Shim and Yoon Soo be able to change their unfortunate destiny?
